Remember though, the fee we collect is based strictly on a percentage of the savings we achieve for you through the hearings process. There are no hidden fees or up front costs. EXAMPLE OF A COMMERCIAL FEE OFFER: The fee agreement between Wix Property Tax Specialists, L.L.C. and [Your Name/Company Name] is as follows: ____% of the potential tax savings achieved by Wix Property Tax Specialists, LLC through the hearings process. Each year will be considered separately. The fee payable to Wix Property Tax Specialists, LLC is calculated as follows: Initial Assessed Value minus Final Assessed Value, then multiply the result by the Previous Year's Total Tax Rate. The portion of this amount payable to Wix Property Tax Specialists is ____%. Simply put, the fee offer is ____% of the total tax savings for the property in the current year. Payments are due in full when a formal or informal hearing agreement from the Appraisal District, Appraisal Review Board, or applicable court is obtained. Wix Property Tax Specialists, L.L.C. may allow payment schedules of up to two months for selected customers. Once the payment period has expired, unpaid balances shall accrue interest at the rate of 2% per month, and a late fee of $25.00 per month will be assessed. Judicial Appeals: If the desired results are not achieved through the informal or formal hearings process, a judicial appeal may be an alternative. Provided a judicial appeal is considered appropriate by the property owner and Wix Property Tax Specialists, LLC; we will discuss this avenue of appeal. Third party legal counsel and law firms specializing in property taxation may be consulted should a judicial appeal be necessary. The fee for judicial appeal is the same as stated above.
